Over the last 40 years the men have campaigned tirelessly to clear their names and overturn their convictions.......
40 years later the men are still without resolution despite relentless campaigning. Their disproportionate treatment for exercising fundamental employment rights leaves a stain on industrial dispute history. Despite many setbacks, they remain resolute in clearing their names and overturning their convictions.
In 2023 a Parliamentary debate took place on the potential merits of a public inquiry https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cdp-2023-0030/, despite much support, to date, there has been no inquiry.
